What kind of qualifications do I need to participate in Union Semester? 

In order to qualify for admission as a Union Semester student, undergraduates must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, and must have successfully completed 45 credits before the start of the Union Semester. To enroll on graduate level, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or a GPA of a 3.0 or higher in a post-baccalaureate program.

What is the acceptance process for Union Semester?

After receiving a completed application, the Program Coordinator will schedule a telephone interview. After the interview and reference check, the Program Coordinator, assisted by a committee of college and labor representatives, reviews all applications. Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis, and applicants are notified three to four weeks after the complete application is received.  The earlier your application is received, the better your chances are of being accepted into the program and the sooner you will be notified of your admission status.
